Voice of reason increasingly audible

Following talks with the leader of the Danish People’s Party and the Danish immigration minister, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that Budapest and Copenhagen share similar views on the issue of illegal migration, which is one of Europe’s biggest security challenges. The migration issue has now decided several elections. Szijjártó cited the example of the US presidential election, in which this was also a very important campaign issue. The candidate who won was Donald Trump, who prioritised the security of his country and spoke clearly about the dangers of illegal immigration.

It is important that more and more people in Europe speak with the voice of reason in the fight against illegal migration. The minister praised the Danish government’s ‘sensible’ immigration policy.
