ChristDems taking aid to Ukraine Hungarians
Over 3,000 refugees from Ukraine arrive in Budapest train stations on Sunday
Most of them continued their way individually or went to relatives after collecting information at the station, police.hu said on Monday.
Authorities transported 122 people, including 23 children, to shelters in and around Budapest.
The Budapest police and members of the rapid response team are assisting refugees arriving by train from Ukraine at the Keleti and Nyugati railway stations. In order to provide them with food, transport and accommodation, the police are in constant contact with the national directorate general for disaster management, the migration authority, public transport companies, the Budapest police and the staff of aid organisations, police.hu said.

Group leader Istvan Simicsko said that a huge amount of donations had been received since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
He added that the military conflict could end soon, but the political and diplomatic impacts may necessitate aid for the people of Ukraine to be continued in the long run.
