Orbán meets Latin Patriach of Jerusalem
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriach of Jerusalem for talks on aid to Christians in the Middle East, in Budapest on Thursday.
According to information from the prime minister’s press office, the prime minister and the patriarch agreed that it must be avoided that the fights and hostilities lead to the disappearance of Christian Communities in the Holy Land.
Hungary will continue to provide humanitarian aid and assistance to religious activities to contribute to the survival of Christian communities in the Middle East, Orbán said at the talks.
