Heroes’ Square rally to back Ukraine against Russia
Українська асоціація Єдність, the Ukrainian Unity Association, based in Budapest, will hold a peaceful rally, part of the international “Stand With Ukraine” cause, at Heroes’ Square this Saturday, February 19 from 2.30 to 4pm.
According to the Ukrainian Unity Association, similar events are taking place in many capitals worldwide, calling on Ukrainians and their supporters in the international community to stand in solidarity as the country faces the threat of invasion by Russia, which would affect NATO, all Europe and the democratic world. It is the biggest threat to peace in Europe since the Second World War.
The rally will present a proud nation standing for peace and prosperity above all else. The Ukrainian Unity Association says: “Please join us because only together are we a strong, promising and convincing force, Slava Ukraini!”
