Disaster management authority sending aid to Slovenia

Hungary's disaster management authority OKF is sending protection equipment to flood-hit Slovenia under a bilateral agreement, OKF said on Friday.

The Hungarian package includes 200,000 sandbags, 500 rubber boots, 300 mattresses, 300 blankets, 300 pillows, 600 sheets, 5,000 torches and 4,800 square metres of flood protection foil, the authority said.

The equipment will be sent to Ljubljana, to be distributed by local authorities.
