Center for Fundamental Rights joins US Free Speech Alliance
The statement said that “Hungary’s leading think tank … aims to preserve the country’s national identity, sovereignty and Jewish-Christian social traditions.”
The think-tank referred to increasing examples of “censorship by tech giants” in the United States and around the world.
The statement quoted L. Brent Bozell, the Media Research Center’s founder, as saying that the US government had “colluded with social media companies to censor and suppress freedoms”.
Bozell also said his organisation was “proud” to have accepted the Hungarian think-tank among its members. “We look forward to working together to protect freedom of speech worldwide,” he added.
