Wizz Air launches direct Debrecen-Istanbul flight
Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air on Monday said it has launched a direct flight connecting Debrecen, in eastern Hungary, and Istanbul.
The Debrecen-Istanbul flight is Wizz Air’s fourth direct service operating between Hungary and Turkiye, Zsuzsa Trubek, the airline’s communications manager, said.
Wizz Air said in February that the new flight will operate twice a week.
The carrier carried 60.3 million passengers in 2023, the statement said.
