Budapest Airport passenger numbers jump in May
Passenger numbers at Budapest's Liszt Ferenc International reached 88,800 in May, almost four times the number registered a year earlier, when the country was in pandemic lockdown, operator Budapest Airport said on Tuesday.
Passenger numbers were up 37 percent from April 2021, they added.
Cargo volume amounted to 71,566 tonnes in January-April, up 32.8 percent from a year earlier and 30.2 percent more than in 2019, the company said.
