Liverpool v. Leipzig again at Puskas Arena

Liverpool will play the home leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against RB Leipzig at Puskás Aréna in Budapest on Wednesday, March 10.

The fixture has been moved to the Hungarian capital because of Covid-19 restrictions.

The Reds hold a 2-0 lead against the German side from the first leg, which was played at the same venue on February 16.

Again, no fans will be allowed because of the pandemic.

Hungarian goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi plays for the German club and the Hungary national team. Gulácsi made his debut for the senior Hungary team on May 22, 2014 in a 2-2 draw against Denmark. He was selected for Hungary’s Euro 2016 squad

Gulácsi was signed to Liverpool from 2007 until 2013, including a loan period at Hull City. He joined Red Bull Salzburg on a free transfer from Liverpool on June 7, 2013, then transferred to Salzburg’s sister club, RB Leipzig, on July 1, 2015.
