Furjes becomes member of FINA governing body
State secretary for international sports events Balazs Furjes has been invited to join the governing body of the international federation of water sports (FINA).
According to Saturday’s newsletter of the Hungarian Swimming Association (MUSZ), a decision was taken at FINA’s General Congress in Doha to invite Furjes into the new Bureau.
“We are all pleased that Hungary will continue to have a representative in the governing body of FINA,” said MUSZ president Sandor Wladar, commenting on the decision.
