Positive future with AI

According to an international Ipsos survey, almost half of Hungarians believe that AI will significantly change their work in the next five years.

K&H Bank published the results of an Ipsos survey in 32 countries. According to the survey, 45% of Hungarians believe that artificial intelligence (AI) will have a significant impact on their work in the next five years. Worldwide, this figure is 60%. Only 24% of Hungarians expect AI to replace their jobs. In a global comparison, however, this figure is significantly higher, at 36%.

More efficiency, better offers

A consistent 55% of respondents worldwide and in Hungary believe that AI will primarily help to complete tasks faster. The second biggest expected change concerns entertainment offerings. 51% worldwide expect better opportunities in the entertainment sector in the next three to five years thanks to AI. In Hungary, however, only just under 40% of respondents think so.

Trust in objectivity

When it comes to data protection, the Hungarian population is more optimistic than the global average. Almost two thirds of respondents trust that companies that use AI will protect their data securely. Only in Thailand, Indonesia and China were the figures higher. Globally, only 47% are confident that AI can handle data securely.

More than half of Hungarians also believe that AI does not act in a biased or discriminatory manner. In contrast, only 41% trust human decisions. This shows that many perceive the decisions of AI systems to be more objective and reliable, although the algorithms behind AI systems can also make mistakes.
