Tisza bets on transparency
Unlike the other parties, the Tisza party receives no state subsidies and no support from abroad.
The now largest opposition party explained to the official news agency MTI on Tuesday that it is financed exclusively by donations from ‘selfless’ Hungarians and the income from its own web shop.
In the interests of transparency, the party plans to publish preliminary financial reports on its own website every quarter. The Tisza party would welcome it if all other parties, whether in the government or opposition camp, were to report on their finances with similar transparency.
