Three Hungarians reported unhurt in Czechia bus crash

Hungary's government knows of three Hungarian nationals who were involved in a bus crash on a motorway in south-eastern Czechia, all of whom are fine, a foreign ministry official said late on Monday.

One bus driver was killed and 76 people were injured when a bus headed from Budapest to Prague was hit by another bus from behind on a motorway near Brno, Czech police have said.

The Hungarians who were travelling on the bus were a man and his son and another man, Tamas Menczer, the state secretary for bilateral relations, said on Facebook.

The Hungarian embassy in Prague is in contact with the Czech authorities and the travel company in question, Menczer said, adding that those affected by the accident would receive all the help they needed.
