Testing lab opens at Liszt Ferenc airport
Members of the public can now get tested for Covid-19 at a testing lab opened at Liszt Ferenc International Airport on Friday.
The lab set up by Liszt Ferenc International operator Budapest Airport and Universal Medical Hub is located on the arrivals level of terminal 2B and offers both PCR and rapid antigen tests to everyone, Katalin Valentinyi, the operator’s communications director, said in a statement.
The lab does not require appointments but people who want to get tested must register online in advance, the statement said. PCR testing costs 19,500 forints (EUR 54), the official cost set by the Hungarian state and it comes back with a result within 24-48 hours, the statement said. The result of an antigen test is available within 15-20 minutes, it said.
