Szantho: CPAC Hungary to bring pro-peace, sovereigntist forces together

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to be held in Budapest on Thursday and Friday aims to bring together "pro-peace and sovereigntist forces" sharing the "true Western civilisational values", the unity of God, homeland and family, the director of the organiser, the Center for Fundamental Rights, said on Wednesday.

Miklos Szantho told a press conference at the conference’s venue, the Millenaris Park, that the 3rd CPAC Hungary is expected to host 3,000 guests and 80 speakers from six continents.

Matt Schlapp, the leader of the American Conservative Union (ACU) said Hungary was an ideal venue for the conference, because “Prime Minister Viktor Orbán brought hope to Europeans and the world.” Common sense policies, “such as the ones chosen bravely by Hungary”, can foster real change, he said.
