Regulations for electric car chargers loosened
26 sites were ‘awarded’ in the first round. These are Albertirsa, Baja, Balmazújváros, Bátonyterenye, Cegléd, Csongrád, Fehérgyarmat, Hernádkak, Kaposvár, Karcag, Kiskunhalas, Kiskunmajsa, Kisvárda, Kóny, Mélykút, Miskolc, Nagykőrös, Nyíradony, Nyírbátor, Sirok, Somogyjád, Sopron, Sümeg, Szekszárd, Tokaj and Villány have modern e-charging stations. With the support of the government, around 100 new e-charging stations are to be installed outside the capital in the coming years.
In addition, the group of companies that can apply for subsidies for the purchase of electric cars, vans and minibuses until next spring has been expanded. Companies established by the end of 2022 (instead of 2021 at the latest) can apply for subsidies regardless of turnover limits, even if they have withdrawn their previous application for any reason.
