Prosecutor presses charges against two Serbian arms smugglers
A prosecutor's office in southern Hungary has brought charges against two Serbian nationals for attempting to smuggle 29 pieces of weaponry into Hungary in October 2019.
The two men arrived at Roszke motorway border crossing by car from Serbia, Ferenc Szarka of the Csongrad-Csanad County Prosecutor’s Office told MTI.
An inspection of the car revealed two machine guns, 27 pistols, ten silencers and 600 rounds of ammunition of former Yugoslav and Czechoslovakian origin as well as from Italy, Hungary, Spain and Brazil.
