PM relieves head of military security service head of duties

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has relieved Lieutenant General Janos Beres of his duties as the director general of the Military National Security Service, the defence ministry said.

Beres will leave the post on Nov 5, ministry said on Monday.

Defence Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky thanked Beres for his service, and proposed General Norbert Tajti for the post, the statement said.
