Parliament to discuss 2022 budget this week
Hungary's parliament will meet every day this week, with next year's budget draft on the agenda from Wednesday to Friday.
The national assembly will meet at 1pm on Monday for a commemoration of recently deceased MP Gabor Kovacs, with a question and answer session to follow.
The assembly will vote on proposals on Tuesday, including a bill aimed at extending coronavirus-related measures, and discuss proposals such as government-sponsored tax changes.
The debate on next year’s budget is scheduled to start at 8am on Wednesday, with an introduction by Mihaly Varga, the finance minister.
