Orbán: Fidesz ‘there in every village and town, every street and square’
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán started a campaign circuit in Szolnok, in eastern Hungary, on Saturday, on a day dubbed the "Day of Million Meetings" ahead of the European parliamentary and local elections on Sunday, the PM's press chief said.
Orbán, the head of ruling Fidesz, canvassed in Szolnok and talked to voters by phone, saying the party was working to mobilise the entire country. “This is the greatest campaign finish: one million meetings in a single day”. “The stakes are enormous and every vote counts. Tomorrow, only peace, only Fidesz,” Bertalan Havasi cited Orbán as saying.
