Official: Churches should use modern tech to reach people
The church should use modern technology to evangelise successfully, a deputy state secretary of the ministry of innovation and technology said on Tuesday.
Speaking at the conference “Digital tools supporting an active religious life”, Balazs Nagy said that at times when people get information from newspapers, radio and television, Christian newspapers, radio and television channels must be started. However, when they inhabit the digital space, churches must also increase their digital presence, he added.
The conference aims to present good practices that promote the church’s digital presence, he said.
