Novak in Bacs-Kiskun as part of county tour
The president’s agenda on Thursday included a visit to the refurbished City Hall where she held talks with local leaders and MPs. They discussed the Paks nuclear plant project, industrialisation and agriculture, Mayor Klaudia Pataki Szemerey told MTI.
The president later visited the plant of Hungarian-owned company Univer Product in Hetenyegyhaz specialising in traditional Hungarian food products. There Novak presented a cake to celebrate the 75th birthday of the company and its employees and participated in a product tasting event.
Closing Thursday’s programme, Novak paid a visit to the renowned Kecskemet Film Studio.
The recent visit forms part of the president’s programme visiting every county to learn first-hand about local affairs. She has already visited six counties.
