Nezopont: Vitezy having chance to prevail over Karacsony
Fully 52 percent of Budapest voters are supporting David Vitezy, the mayoral candidate of LMP - Greens, while incumbent Gergely Karacsony is supported by 45 percent, a poll published by the Nezopont Institute has showed.
After Fidesz’s Alexandra Szentkiralyi withdrew from the race and endorsed Vitezy on Friday, Nezopont said that 46 percent of respondents said they expected Karacsony to lose on Sunday, while 42 percent said he would win.
The third candidate, Andras Grundter of the radical nationalist Our Homeland Movement, is expected to garner some 3 percent, Nezopont said.
