Matolcsy addresses Dubai FinTech Summit
Representatives of the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) attended the Dubai FinTech Summit for the first time, where Governor Gyorgy Matolcsy addressed the opening event, NBH said on Monday.
NBH is also showcasing financial innovations at a stand at the two-day event featuring the innovative solutions of over 200 exhibitors, the statement said.
Matolcsy also participated at a discussion on the role of central banks in digital and a sustainable economy, addressing issues on sustainability, financial innovation and central bank digital currency. He said financial and technological development could blur the boundaries between sectors, creating new business models and “financial ecosystems”.
