Lavrov: Moscow to consider Hungary’s request for more gas purchases
Russia will readily consider Hungary's request for further gas purchases, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after talks with Peter Szijjarto, Hungary's minister of foreign affairs and trade, in Moscow on Thursday.
“The implementation of the long-term agreements on Russian natural gas exports signed last year is fully in line with our countries’ interests,” Lavrov said. “Our colleagues informed us today that the Hungarian government has expressed interest in making further gas purchases this year.”
“We will report on this request and look into it without delay,” Lavrov said.
