Kovacs: German green MEPs ‘going against all established EU rules’
Zoltan Kovacs, the state secretary for international communication, said it was "the funniest thing ... when one of the most notorious figures of the modern, liberal 'Reign of Terror,' driven by his delusional political utopia, argues about the "rule of law" while going against all established EU rules and the fundamental principles of democracy".
Kovacs reacted on the X social media platform on Thursday to German green MEP Daniel Freund’s entry calling on the EU to cut funds for Hungary’s government and take away Hungary’s voting rights.
Kovacs added that Freund’s proposal was “as pathetic as it is dangerous”.
