Hungary’s Csehi appointed as CJEU judge
Zoltan Csehi has been appointed to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) as its Hungarian member, the justice ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Csehi has been appointed for a six-year term starting on October 7, it said.
His nomination for the post was supported by the Hungarian parliament’s European affairs committee.
Csehi has been a member of the CJEU’s General Court since 2016. Prior to his appointment he was a university professor in Budapest and a guest professor at the Catholic University of Lyon.
