Hungarian armed forces to continue upgrade with turbofan planes
The upgrade of the Hungarian armed forces will continue with the purchase of a set of new turbofan aircraft, the government said on Friday.
The military air fleet will be expanded with 12 light turbojet L-39NG aircraft in 2024, the government said on its Facebook page. Eight of the airplanes will be used for training pilots and the rest will perform reconnaissance tasks.
“We are building a national defence force that will guarantee Hungary’s peace and security,” the government said.
