Gulyas: Boka tapped for EU affairs minister
Janos Boka, the state secretary for European Union affairs of the justice ministry, has been tapped as minister for EU affairs from August 1, the head of the Prime Minister's Office said on Monday.
Among other EU affairs, Boka will be responsible for cooperation with Hungary’s allies and other ministries during Hungary’s preparation for taking over the rotating presidency in the second half of 2024, Gergely Gulyas said.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will propose to President Katalin Novak to appoint Boka from August 1, he added.
