GPs to get extra payment for weekend vaccinations
GP practices will get extra payment for mandatory epidemic-related work carried out on weekends and bank holidays, the government website said on Saturday.
Payment is 80,000 forints (EUR 221) for a full day’s work and 40,000 for a half day, as renumeration for the doctor and other health-care employees working in the practice, the statement said. If less than half of the people turn up for vaccination on any given day, the payment will also be halved, it added.
Detailed rules will soon be published in a government decision, the statement said.
