Former Australia PM Abbott joins Danube Institute as guest researcher
Former prime minister of Australia Tony Abbott is joining the Danube Institute as a guest researcher this autumn, the institute announced on Thursday.
Abbott headed Australia’s government between 2013 and 2015, the institute said, noting his “extremely diverse political and geopolitical experience”.
The former PM has already been a guest of the institute’s programmes on several occasions, it said, adding that he will be a regular speaker at Hungarian and international conferences, as well as contributing to the bi-monthly magazine Hungarian Conservative.
