Fidesz seen winning 121 parliamentary seats – Median

Hungary's ruling alliance of Fidesz and the Christian Democrats is expected to win Sunday's general election with 121 seats in Hungary's 199-seat parliament, according to a survey by pollster Median.

Fidesz is seen capturing 49 percent of the vote, with the united opposition receiving 41 percent, Endre Hann, Median’s director, told commercial channel RTL Klub.

According to Median’s estimates, neither the radical Mi Hazank party nor the satirical Two-Tailed Dog Party will reach the 5 percent threshold to enter parliament.

The Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance is expected to win 121 parliamentary seats, with the German national minority also winning one seat.

The leftist Democratic Coalition is seen winning 21 seats, conservative Jobbik 16, the liberal Momentum Movement 15, the Socialists 12, the small liberal Parbeszed party 8 and green LMP 5 seats, according to the poll.
