Election 2024 – Turnout 56.09 pc at 6.30pm
By 6.30pm on Sunday, 56.09 percent of eligible voters had cast their ballots in the European parliamentary and local elections in Hungary.
Turnout was the highest in Vas County (61.56 percent) and the lowest in Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok County (52.41 percent).
Voter participation in Budapest stood at 57.56 percent at 6.30pm.
In the 2019 EP elections, voter participation reached 41.74 percent at 6.30pm. In 2014 it stood at 27.64 percent and in 2009 at 34.90 percent.
The final, unofficial turnout figures will be published later tonight.
