EC launches communication campaign hailing Hungary’s 20 years in EU
The campaign will focus on individual stories to show the positive impact of the membership, the organisers said. The campaign will be broadcast on social media, ad hoardings and a website. TV ads will be delayed in view of the flood emergency, they added.
The Hungarian representation of the EC is also organising open-air photo exhibitions at 3 venues in Budapest and 19 outside the capital, showing a successful EU-funded development from each county, they said.
In 2004, Hungary had become the member of a supportive community, one that supported its efforts against the floods with the Copernicus satellite system and funding, the statement said. The EU was ready to provide further support, they added.
