Deutsch: Stakes never higher for matters to be decided on June 9
Hungarians will decide on matters for which the stakes have never been higher, war or peace, at the European Parliament elections on June 9, Tamas Deutsch, who heads the Fidesz-Christian Democrat list in the race, said on ruling Fidesz's Facebook page on Sunday.
Deutsch said that the Peace March, the biggest peace rally in Europe, held on Saturday, had demonstrated that “we are strong together”.
He thanked the organisers of the Peace March, the Civic Union (COF), and everybody who had participated.
He urged every pro-peace Hungarian to vote in the EP election and back the “only pro-peace” political power: Fidesz-Christian Democrats.
