Demand for e-car subsidy exceeds expectations
The number of applications for support for the programme to promote green company fleets exceeded 7,000.
The Ministry of Energy announced that up to a maximum of HUF 64 million can be applied for under the programme for company e-cars to modernise a company’s vehicle fleet. More than HUF 27 billion of the HUF 30 billion framework amount has already been applied for.
A total of around HUF 10.5 billion has now been paid out for 2,700 e-vehicles. It is expected that the number of pure electric cars registered with green licence plates will exceed 75,000 in Hungary in March, according to the ministry’s press release.
