Defence Minister: Hungary dedicated member of NATO
Hungary is a dedicated member of NATO's system of alliance, Defence Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky said on Monday.
He told a meeting of military and air force attaches that, contrary to most member states calling for a military solution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Hungary maintains a pro-peace position, supporting ceasefire and peace talks.
Despite the pressure to support a military solution, Hungary maintains its own solvereign position, he added.
