Construction sector output plunges by 16.2 pc yr/yr in Oct
Output of Hungary's construction sector plunged by an annual 16.2 percent in October, after declining by 14.7 percent in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
Output of the buildings segment fell by 5.3 percent and civil engineering output dropped by 26.5 percent.
In a month-on-month comparison, output rose a seasonally and working day-adjusted 1.3 percent.
In absolute terms, construction sector output came to 389.4 billion forints in October.
