Chamber of Commerce comes up with 15-point recommendation package
A 15-point package of recommendations to increase the competitiveness of domestic companies was adopted at the constituent meeting. The MKIK has set itself the goal of being a modern, dynamic and member-oriented organisation. To this end, it has defined short, medium and long-term measures in addition to the programmes already initiated (minimum wage research, reduction of bureaucracy), its new president Elek Nagy announced on Tuesday.
The package of recommendations is part of the government’s action plan and can also be implemented in the short term. It proposes cost-effective measures that require no or minimal financial resources and are expected to increase GDP. Key points include the need to assess in detail the problems of SMEs that are already exporting, specific support to maintain and develop their markets and simplification of SME taxation.
