Centuries old church in Tarnok renovated
The 300 year-old Catholic church of Tarnok, near Budapest, has been renovated in cooperation with the government, the Hungarian Catholic Church, the Diocese of Szekesfehervar and the Slovak Self-Government of Tarnok, the state secretary for church and minority relations said on Sunday.
Miklos Soltesz said after a mass of thanksgiving at the church that the cost of the renovation totalled over 55 million forints (EUR 144,000).
The mass was celebrated by Antal Spanyi, the bishop of Szekesfehervar.
