Agriculture ministry: Hungary asks EC to lift pasture mowing restrictions
Hungary's agriculture ministry has asked the European Commission to lift pasture mowing restrictions because of the drought in the country.
Lifting the restrictions, imposed on the countries participating in the EU’s agri-environmental programme, could ease a feed shortage, Agriculture Minister Istvan Nagy said in a statement issued by his ministry on Monday.
