Active months in sight on the property market
Strong buying and selling activity is expected on the property and mortgage markets in the coming months.
The 10,740 transactions estimated by Duna House for October were 10% higher than the previous month’s results and 37% higher than the previous year. According to data from the group’s international finance brand, Credipass, 115bn forints in mortgage loans were granted in October.
Among the properties sold last month in Buda and Pest, as well as nationwide, flats with areas of 40-60 m2 were the most sought-after. In Buda, flats were usually sold for 1.2-1.4 million forints per square metre, in Pest for 600-800,000 forints and nationwide for less than 250,000 forints per square metre of living space.
