At a celebration on Wednesday, Haris Hajrulahovic, the head of WHO’s country office in Budapest, said the setting up of the collaborating centre is proof of NNGY’s outstanding professional work. The institute’s experts have helped WHO in working out its coronavirus pandemic related guidelines by contributing their unique findings, he said.

The centre will operate as part of an international network of 50 institutions, he said.
