Official: National public health strategy ready
Hungary's national public health strategy setting out key objectives and tasks for the next ten years is now ready, the state secretary for health said on Tuesday.
The document also defines “intervention points and monitoring”, Peter Takacs said, noting that the strategy heavily leans towards prevention and catching diseases early.
The government’s goal is to increase the number of years Hungarian people spend in health, he added.
The interior ministry overseeing the health portfolio will implement the strategy, he noted.
