Hungary to stop publishing weekly coronavirus data
Hungary's Coronavirus Press Centre on Friday said it will no longer publish weekly numbers of coronavirus cases given that new infections have been sporadic for weeks.
With only sporadic Covid cases being diagnosed in Hungary for several weeks now, meaning that the epidemic is over, and since the World Health Organization (WHO) has also declared the global health emergency to be over, weekly announcements on the number of cases will cease, the press centre said.
It added that people could still get vaccinated against the virus.
