Coronavirus – 59 deaths, 1,387 new infections
Altogether 59 patients died of a Covid-related illness in the past 24 hours, while 1,387 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday.
So far 6,397,623 people have received a first jab, while 6,176,191 have been double-jabbed. Fully 3,822,108 Hungarians have received a booster shot.
The number of active infections has declined to 126,009, while hospitals are treating 2,766 Covid-19 patients, 114 of whom are intubated on a ventilator.
Since the first outbreak, 1,807,285 have been registered with the virus, while 44,495 deaths have been recorded. Fully 1,636,781 people have made a recovery.
