Bird flu detected in northern Hungary
Bird flu has been identified in geese at a farm in Nograd County, in northern Hungary, food safety authority Nebih said on Thursday.
Protection and surveillance zones have been established around the farm, and around 5,200 geese are being destroyed.
Bird flu has been detected recently on a number of farms in the south and east of Hungary.
