Timisoara jazz festival bands have 133 Grammy Awards
Local, national and international artists will feature in equal measure, with the day always started by Romanian talent, featuring Marsdelux, Tereza Catarov and Mischa Blanos. The centre line of all three days will be provided by experimentation, outdoing and breaking classic formats through Matteo Mancuso, MonoNeon and Jazzbois, plus headliners such as Jordan Rakei, Gogo Penguin and Roberto Fonseca.
Since 2013, JAZZx (originally JazzTM) has set out to bring music of high artistic value close to all the communities of Timisoara, uniting Romanian artists at the beginning of their journey, artists who innovate and experiment, discovering new horizons, but also living legends of the various genres that jazz brings together.
Over more than 12 years, this journey has demonstrated the importance of the cultural act as a common good, as a value that binds people, inspires them, shows possibilities and changes mentalities.
JAZZx has succeeded in putting Timisoara on the map of major jazz festivals and events worldwide, not only from the perspective of the international artists brought, but also from the perspective of the paths opened for the communities of Romanian artists that have grown with it.
There are 133 Grammy Awards that attest to the mastery of JAZZx artists, but beyond the recognition, excitement and hope of the gesture of listening to them together, as different and unique as people are, the experience was and always remains valuable.
JAZZx is the sum of these experiences lived together, and access is free.
