House Speaker opens Hungarian Film Days in Ulaanbaatar

House Speaker Laszlo Kover on Saturday opened the first Hungarian Film Days in Ulaanbaatar, along with Munkhuu Batbayar, Mongolia's deputy minister for culture.

Kover welcomed the agreements recently concluded on Hungarian-Mongolian cultural cooperation. The festival features 1242-Gateway to the west, a Hungarian-Mongolian-Australian-British coproduction which was made with Mongolian filmmakers working in Hungary, he said. Cooperation will hopefully continue in other projects, he added.

Munkhuu Batbayar said Hungary is an important cultural partner of Mongolia.
