September PPI down 2.5 percent yr/yr
The Hungarian industrial producer price index in September fell by an annual 2.5 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
Prices for domestic sale grew by 7.8 percent, while export prices fell by 7.5 percent.
Month on month, PPI increased by 1.7 percent, with domestic prices up 1.7 percent and export prices 1.6 percent higher.
Domestic energy prices grew by an annual 15.4 percent, while manufacturing sector prices were up 2.3 percent.
Export prices of the manufacturing sector fell by 1.2 percent, while energy sector export prices dropped by 58.8 percent.
In January-September, PPI was up 12.7 percent year on year, with domestic sales prices up 34.4 percent and export prices 2.1 percent higher.
